I tried a search, but didn't come up with any hits. Has anyone modified the oh so controversial rear Porsche reflector to be back lit as a third brake light?

With illuminexcent strip-lighting that's available now (flexible plastic stip like tape that lights up) you could essentially do it yourself. You'd have to remove the paint backing and the opaque plastic piece on the reflector though.

Hadn't thought of that. Kinda had my thought stuck on LEDs. I guess I need to think more creatively. I just figured someone had to have tried it by nom. Thanks for the idea.
