I see good sets of 2.0L stainless heat exchangers go for $250 to $350 from time to time...

if they're good condition SS, you might get a sum.
otherwise (non-SS, late-model, etc.), don't expect much. my .02 n |

I've priced used SSI stainless exchangers over the last couple years.
In good condition: 1.7L sets go for $150-200 2.0L sets go for $250-300 |

Is there an I.D. difference between the two models of SS HE's?
I've got a set on the eggplant that I'm going to pull, clean up and put on the 1911. I hope it offers a big enough breathing difference over stock 1.8. And I do like having heat to take the nip off of the cool mornings and defrosting. Maybe I'll pull them today and see what I gotz. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) |

My understanding is that the inside diameter on both models of SSI is the same so they should both flow just as well.
