Someone want to tell me about valence/bumpers?
I know that the later ones are different.
I have a 70' w/stock rear bumper and the valence lines up as seen in picture.
Its short on both sides by over an inch. Is there a change in the pre-impact bumpers valence? Do I need a certain valence to have them line up? I havent noticed much of a difference in the /4 valences for the early cars (pre 73..?).
I dunno, mine is straight anyone wanna trade for one that may fit my bumper?
Regards,
Robert O

p.s. why doesnt someone make fiberglass bumper tops or fiberglass fog light delete panels that are solid, can be painted to match bumpers- smoooth look.
And make a passenger side door pocket that IS a pocket.
Easy projects for someone w/ a garage, then sell em' to AA.

It's the same with my bumper. The pre-impact bumper(70-74) were made to conform to the fender shape not the shape of the bumper. If you want a bumper and valance that lines up with the fender you could use the fiberglass 916 look bumpers.
