On ARock In Rural Iowa

I'm told that there is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy. 25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing it's character many times. A few months back, the rock received it's latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight.

As you can see from the background, it's as tall as a telephone pole (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif)

If the little flags at the base are about 6" tall (3" flag & 3" stick) it would be about 7'-8' tall

That rock is in Greenfield - about an hour away from Des Moines. Actually - the location is only about 30 miles from where Lawrence bought his 914/6 (there's your 914 content).

1) I haven't seen the rock
2) There ARE things to do in Iowa other than go look at painted rocks
3) I will not go see the rock and put a 914club sticker on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
