How does not having a charcoal canister and the associated holes on the engine and air intake box affect idle and such?

Should I find one and put it back on my car?

Do you still vent the gas tank?

just the stock plastic hose that goes down and out the bottom.
i put the little vent-hose inside the plastic hose (which is for overspill), so now when i corner hard, the gas just drizzles out the bottom and i can tell by the amount of smell how much g-force i was pulling. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
