Maverick region had a Time Trial at Motorsport ranch on Saturday.
Here's me, catching Roy.. Photography website link! I can't hotlink the photos, they set the website up that way deliberately. |

I am probably one of the slower cars in class. I am still sorting the chassis.. and I only got one dry run group. The first time I got on track, it was right after another 914 had sucked in a valve cover gasket and left every left hand corner covered in oil....right on the line. We had a 90 minute delay while they cleaned up the oil, and I was the first car out after they were done. The graphite they used to dry the oil was slick itself. I changed my line to compensate for it.
Afternoon was much better, I dropped 6 seconds. But I was still 5 seconds off the fastest car in class. |

You know this to be true. Looks like a lot of fun. I need to do that one day. How does time trials compare to a DE at tha venue? Just not as many laps? |
