![]() I just bought my 914 and noticed I am missing what I think is my plug for the crank shaft pulley. Can anyone confirm this is what is missing, AND, where do I buy one. Thanks Dale |

that plug is over the cooling fan- I guess it is called the cooling fan housing plug. Have you looked at Pelican Parts or AutoAtlanta?

Thanks, so is it called the crank shaft pulley plug? Haynes manual, page 22: #34 - Sight hole cover on page 64, under section #4 "Ignition timing", it says: "2. Remove the plastic cap which is screwed into the engine impeller housing." i always call it the "Timing hole plug". it seems, most 914 people know what that means ...
