 I just bought my 914 and noticed I am missing what I think is my plug for the crank shaft pulley. Can anyone confirm this is what is missing, AND, where do I buy one. Thanks Dale |

that plug is over the cooling fan- I guess it is called the cooling fan housing plug. Have you looked at Pelican Parts or AutoAtlanta?

Haynes manual, page 22: #34 - Sight hole cover on page 64, under section #4 "Ignition timing", it says: "2. Remove the plastic cap which is screwed into the engine impeller housing." i always call it the "Timing hole plug". it seems, most 914 people know what that means ...
