Has anyone had any experience with a "mild cam"? I am building up a street 2.0 and will keep the d-Jet and mechanical lifters. I am not building a racer, just trying to get another 5hp or so while replacing the cam.

I haven't driven it yet

it is really really supposed to be the best of the mild cams.
check his website

there are different ones depending upon elevation
9550 and 9590

Barry -
I put a Raby/Webcam 9550 (sorry don't know the specs) in my "stock" 2.0 rebuild per Jake's recommendation. You'll know I'm not a mechanic when I say - runs very well at the higher RPMs. Its a little rough when in the neighborhood, at lower RPMs, attempting to keep the noise down.

Happy with it so far (only 1500 miles on it) and it also got me to and from the WCR. Thanks again for cooking at Pt. Gamble.

I have Jakes 9550 cam in my 2056 w/Djet. It really wakes the engine up and cools head temperature. Make sure to get his lifters.
