Hey guys,

What is the average cost to have a set of 2.0 heads reworked and that would include welding of cracks by the plug holes and welding a chunk of the cooling fin back on?

I'm just trying to see if it would be cheaper to buy a usable set or have mine reworked.

I feel like I bought a money pit! I should of just bought a Raby engine and been done with it.

$1500 and up, done right. Finding "a usable set" might be more difficult than you think. They're ALL cracked.

When Hoffman gets done with your heads they will be better than new. The price includes all repairs and all parts. Hoffman does most of Raby's heads or did. I just talked to Len a couple or 3 weeks ago.
