I just found out that the PO installed a sideshifter engine mount, and a tailshifter transmission. I have the engine mount bar coming, but I figured since I would have to drop it anyway, I should replace the engine mount bushings.
I see WEVO makes a sweet trans mount in aluminum and urethane, but I don't see anything for the motor mounts. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to upgrade from stock replacements if possible. |

From what I have researched you should stay with the stock mounts, unless you are racing. I upgraded the trans mounts to sport mounts and installed stock replacements for the engine.

The "upgrade" is really only for race cars.
New engine and tranny mounts are the way to go, unless you want to feel all the vibration from the motor.....ALL of it.. Its rubber and flexible for a reason. Rich |

The 911 sport mounts are a replacement for the transmission mounts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
