Ok, so I love to tinker when I get time. My thermostat cable has been broken for a while now so I though it's time to fix it. Bought a mountain bike shifter cable from walymart for about 2 bucks. This thing even had the correct end on it! Works great.

This is a stock photo. They really are all about the same.

Do you have pictures or a name of the product?

I think it was made by Bell, just hanging on the wall with the bicycle stuff. I get going on stuff and always forget to take pics. The cable is for the derailer ( spelling is wrong I know) and came with a housing that you just toss. Next time I run over there I'll take a pick of the package.

Bicycle brake and derailleur cables will stretch after new installation. Make sure you check adjustment later.
