I've used "Red Devil" lye which I get at some grocery stores or Home Depot. It is sold as a drain cleaner. It can get pretty hot when mixed with water. If you get a strong solution of it on your skin it will 'saponify' the fat in your skin (kind of like turn you to soap----or maybe soup). Really bad to get in your eyes. So wear goggles and nitrile gloves and don't shake the tank over your head (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) . That all said, in an hour it will strip all the glop out of a oil or fuel tank for that matter.

I would use UPS.
Send it to SmartRacing and have 'em extend it at the same time...
