The annual biggie in Nor Cal. The Cap'n and the Lovely Lyn will be heading up there on Saturday, staying in ever-popular Hayward for the night, and setting up early Sunday AM. Hope to see a lot of you there! Look for the white Vanagon and the green EZ-up. If you think of anything you might want us to bring, lemme know .........................

Any pixs or feedback to what this event is like? Should I load the van and do a road trip? How is the vendors & Swappers turn out?

Leamon,

Last year when I went, there were vendors all the way down the street... easily the largest Porsche swap I've ever been to.

Lyn and I usually have dinner the evening before the swap meet, most often at Chevy's, just around the corner from the Motel 6 in Hayward. We'd be happy to have anyone on this list, or the other one, join us for dinner and a little lie swapping ......................... The Cap'n

This is the 20th reunion so it should be big. Normally it fills the whole street.

Looking to unload everything before I sell my 914. (Getting a house soon..)

2 914 trani's (both sideshift and been sitting for years upon years)
1 915 trani w/ LSD and v8 bellhousing and conversion w/ velios shift linkage IIRC (PO said trani could use a rebuild)
1 set cookie cutter wheels
1 set 15" Gotti wheels (wide w/ old tires)
1 set of old goodyear cantilover take offs (15")
2 17x7 boxster wheels
about 1 complete car of 914 parts, no interior. (about 10 tubs of parts)
And a bunch of other 914 related stuff.

Looking forward to seeing you guys again! Been a while.

I'm loading the van this afternoon, and leaving earlyish Saturday. Because the spaces fill pretty quickly, it's a good idea to get to parts Heaven early on Sunday morning.

Excellent turn out for the swap meet today. Here are a few photos from the event.
Ken Rineharts beautifully restored Creamcicle.

This was a real head turner. I love white Porsches and this one is as good as they come.

I doubt it left the factory this clean.

So many flavors.

Nolan had a blast and scored some goods. Thanks Rob Ways for Nolans hat. He is stoked and can't wait for the next time. He was a trooper getting out of bed at 6am to go to Parts Heaven with his dad.
