No matter how things change they always stay the same.

Let us hope we will see something awesome along the lines of the 914 and perhaps maybe a nice AWD front engine coupe or something as well.

The history of VW/Porsche is so intertwined anyways.

I just realized I have only owned 2 cars that were not VAG/Porsche products.

1999 Cavalier Z24 & 3 cylinder Geo Metro.

Yea.. I was just looking at the Yahoo new panel on this.

Certainly alot of irony for 914 owners now. Before it was a stigma not being a full Porsche. Now it seems it was the right thing all along 35 plus years ago.

So with the new merger developments, what happens to the entire "NARP" movement? Do they need to re-brand themselves to "NARVW"?

Funny stuff, but they'll still have a chip.

At least we can drink beer with the post merge guys. The pre merge guys will still eat wine and cheese.

My concern is that with the debt, they will adopt the Harvard Business school mantra- focus only on highly profitable segments and sell off the rest.

That means parts for older cars such as ours will become NLA after the one time fire sale..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
