Communicating with a guy who is wanting to sell a set of "minilites." But there are no markings on the wheels except the number 30 on the back side. They are 15 X 5.5.

I have never seen Minilites that weren't marked, so I am hoping someone here can help me out. Sure don't want to pay Minilite prices for a set of Empis or similar knock offs.

And No to your question, I don't have any photos, although I keep asking. That concerns me some too.

Thanks.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) The only way they are worth good money is if they are Vintage Magnesium Mini's.

Otherwise you should buy Superlites.

Somewhat agree with your concern. However, I do not think you can mistake Empis for Minilites and yes, it is possible to have no markings - I should know - I had Al Reed polish 5 original Minilites same size as yours and they had all the markings before he started and then he ended up in his exuberance polishing out the markings on the front side such as made in england and otherwise - It did not bother me as I knew they were all legit but I can share your thoughts. Just my two cents worth.

I agree, Minilites are always clearly marked and if he can't come up with some pics I too would be a bit suspicious. I have 15 x 6.5 on mine and here's one of them.

30 could be offset. A lot of those wheels are 'customizable' to your specs.
