The 73+ should have solid outboard mounts, which look like pieces of U-channel with holes in them. That is how the outboard ends of the motor mounts attach to the chassis. The rubber mounts go between the middle of the bar and the brackets on the crankcase.
Sounds like you were expecting the big rubber outboard mounts that the early cars use? --DD |

Okay you ordered these:
(IMG:http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h88/danlo830/imgdsplycgi.jpg) But were expecting something like this: (IMG:http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_BC-CC9cI2Ys/Rf9DXNEtAQI/AAAAAAAAAKA/D9MvJhXpIeM/s320/engine_mount.jpg) Unfortunately, i don't think Pelican sells those anymore. I was looking for a set a few years back and i was only able to get them off a parts car. |
