Does anybody know the size difference between the 1.7 and 2.0 heads where the cylinder slips in? Actually dimensions would be nice. Bore on the heads, or OD of the cylinders. Either one. Doesn't matter.
Also, is there a difference at the bottom too? I.E., is there a larger bore on the 2.0 case for the sleeves? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is different, but I don't know by how much. measure the OD of the 1.7 and the OD of the 2.0 and that will tell you. If you are using 1.7 heads on a 2.0 you have to have them cut for the bigger cylinders.

Heads should only be done with the new cylinder in hand, allow about .015 over on the flycut.
It works, I've done it several times, but I'd try to find a set of 1800's first.
