Funny how things change: For the last so many years the rage was to replace the old radio clunker with the new DIN sized high powered cd players. The factory material covered face plate provided exactly what one needed to fit this new style radio.
Suddenly, in the last two years the trend has changed and everyone is now demanding the old shaft style faceplate long discontinued by the factory and all used ones exhausted from our supply! Finally we took it upon ourselves to make these sought after face plates. One is for the Blaupunkt Frankfort style and Becker factory radios, and the other for the dealer installed vw and motorola type. Both come expertly covered with the matching dash face material, and ready for an easy installation. Upcoming are our original factory fit speakers! wasn't there a different shape of the face plate over the years early style vs. late style)?
IIRC the right hand upper corner was different? anybody knows the details (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
