friends 914 has a problem, with ignition on, when he turns on heater fan with engine off, the heater fan turns on ok ((using lever on floor near shifter) however the fuel pump also turns on, but only for several seconds.
Anyone have some ideas of where to touble shoot this problem? thanks dave |

check the connector for the engine harness on the relay board for custom wiring (read: hack job)
early cars have the wires for the heater fan in the engine harness (1 green, 1 brown) later cars have the wires in the main harness and exit below the relay board. Andy |
