I have made an agreement to buy George Hussey's 916 and am taking delivery this weekend. A couple of weeks ago I was approached on line by Mubuto Salawingo, the nephew of an Ivory Coast diamond exporter. He needed my help in securing 21 million dollars that his uncle had in an account prior to his being exacuted in a case of mistaken identity by some local vigilanty types. Anyways, to make a long story short, I sent Mr Salawingo $5000.00 of my money in a show of good faith which he used to secure the previously mentioned funds, and in return, he has sent me $5,758,000.00 for helping him. At first I thought this was a hoax, but I figured it was worth $5000.00 to find out. Imagine my surprize when the CASH came. It was wrapped up in a Dove soap box with a bunch of scotch tape and had a $0.60 stamp. I'm thinking of having the 916 painted olympic blue 'cuz that's the color Jon Watts says is coolest for 914s. I'll post pics when I get it.

Hey Curvie (Tom)

Your April Fool joke was last week when you told us you saw a White/Green LE. Poor Bowsley's probably still in shock.

If you're going to change the color cut those damn factory flares off while you're at it and also put a standard Targa top on it! And consider converting it to 4-lug.

I had lunch today with George, but he didn't mention it. He knows I have been trying to make a deal with him on that car for several years now. I didn't think he really had any intention of selling.

My advice to you is: next time you get an e-mail from someone in Africa offerring you millions to help them out and all you have to do is fork over a few thousand dollars as a show of good faith , you should send them your money.
If only I'd have taken seriously all these offers I've gotten over the years, I'd have BILLIONS by now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Maybe I'd be married to Anna Nicole. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) "Anna Nicole Roadlover" Kinda just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?
