OK, I wasn't around for the last calendar and I'm wondering what are the chances of a repeat? Was it a disaster or worth doing again. I just found the old and lengthy thread for the last calendar. Looks like ya'll had a bunch of fun with it. Maybe we could be different with a new calendar and start the year on Sept. 14th! Just a thought, but I would like a 914 calendar in my garage.

I believe there are a couple of utilities to create the calendar, then make it available to everyone. They can take the file to an Kinko's and have the calendar made. Or use an online service...

I once started a calendar for my own needs, but never got back to it.

For example, here's a quick PDF of a one month calendar that took all of a couple minutes to do. (and this is just an example. It's ugly and needs some work. I am a hack at this kind of things.)

Attached File  914_calendar_2010.pdf ( 150.28k ) Number of downloads: 280

it's a great idea and should be an anual event. Perhaps the car of the month (x 12). Even if it was only a link to a service (photos provided)

Well that's all fine and dandy but what about the women? Are you going to "cut 'n paste" them, too. Or maybe we could get some volunteer's ??? Or recycle the old calendar. I never saw it so I wouldn't know the difference. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

It's an easy process really. The hardest part is assembling 12 pictures at the right high resolution and size for printing. Picture size depends on the chosen calendar size. See here for instructions:

Understood - I should clarify. I have a good collection of 914 pics taken with my D200 and I'll be shooting a bunch at the Tahoe event here in a few weeks. With a little planning I could take some great calendar shots. I shoot in RAW at full resolution with good glass and am an Adobe Lightroom/PhotoShop weenie. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

For those who need instant gratification, I recycled the calendar pix I used in 2006 & 2007 to offer a 2010 Calendar here: http://www.cafepress.com/gteener.443092131

*Please note that at the time these calendars were created, the 914World.com group did not yet exist, hence the 914club.com watermarks.

Also be aware that the pricing and all order related issues are done by CafePress.com alone and not by me. I just post the purchase-ready product.
I DID NOT add any markup to the cost of this calendar. The price you see is all CafePress pricing.

Enjoy!

Like about 1/2 of the photos. April makes it *not* work friendly, unless I am tired of where i work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

And I would prefer a 16 or so month calendar. Starting in January, I have to throw away 4 months!

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the effort!

I like it. Can you add 3-4 more pictures and get us the 16 months? Great photography. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I don't get it. What's w/ April?
Anywho, put me down for one if someone does make them. WCR should provide some good shots. I still think we should start "our" calendar year 9-14. The Mayans had their own calendar why can't we. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

I changed April last night. Alas CafePress's app doesn't give designer control over which month the calendar starts.

And I appreciated that! I noticed the change.

Too bad about not being able to do 16 months and having it start sooner, like now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hum. I can create a PDF using MS Publisher, which is what I used to create the one I did earlier.
