We had originally been told that our 'designated location' was going to be on top of the parking structure. But after a lot of being jerked around it looks like we'll be in the parking lot way out back. Adjust your brains. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Host hotel is circled in orange. Parking location (appox) is circled in purple.

[EDIT: Fixed thanks to Rob's comment below.]

Mark,
Not to further confuse but I think their intention is for us to use the far corner of the Harrah's lot which is across the street to the South and East of Harvey's. It looks like your picture is of the back-lot of the Horizon.

Fixed.

Okay, fixed it Rob. It may seem weird that we're in a different hotel's parking lot, but both Harvey's and Harrah's are the same parent company.

I'm REALLY pissed that the events manager has been such a flake and we haven't been able to get a FIRM location. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

It's better to just call it a street. Technically, it's a highway but in actuality it's just a normal downtown street with a stoplight.

How about that smaller back-lot next to "Lake Pkwy" in the upper left corner of the map?

Looks like that would be plenty of room for us and it's out of the way ...

Lots of us are staying at Harrah's so it doesn't suck. The hotels are literally just a few yards apart. McMark is correct, the highway is just a downtown street with lights and crosswalks. We think it would be best to take what we are given so we don't draw too much attention in case someone starts backdating bumpers in the lot!!!

Well, this really really sucks. First you change the date from last week to this week and now you change the parking arrangements. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

Just a small "hickup in the events of life". Enjoy the very special event that has been planned and Lake Tahoe is a great place for your event. The "boys and girls" of Nor-Cal have gone out of their way to make it very special for the participants.

I wish I was there with you. Last attended a West Coast Lotus Event there and enjoyed it. At one time the Tahoe Circuit has some great shows; probably gone by now and taken over by the Indian Casinos. Tahoe is very beautiful and special place. Spent alot of time there when we lived in Santa Clara.

Have fun and enjoy!!!!

Thanks for the back-pat Steve. We think this is a great site for any event. The casinos still have some great shows. One of them has a comedy club headlining Louie Anderson during the event. Just one of the many Du Jour items you can choose to do during WCR2010 Teeners at Tahoe.

I suspect after a little of this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) those trees are going to be a good place to stand behind and ummm... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) evacuate our swollen bladders??? Better than returning to your room from on top of the ramp for sure!

Unless one of my old college drunken wanderings are telling me differently, I believe there's an underground passageway connecting the north-n-south casinos. That'll take care that problem (there's a mid-block signalized crossing, too). Cheers, less than nine hours until the caravan begins!!! See y'all tomorrow!

Hopefully it's wide enough for a teener. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
