I reinstalled the clutch cable on the transmission end after an engine drop and reinstall and adjusted all the way in the pedal still dosen't come all the way up.WTF any ideas?I didn't touch the pedal end should have gone right back in place.

Engine/ trans not mounted together correctly, some thing fell out during re-install, general bad luck ?

Never seperated the engine and trans,just freshend up the top end.Thats why I'm confused.I'm going to take the cable loose from the trans and have someone hold the pedal up while I reinstall it to see if it will work that way.

Just did that yesterday. Bunji cord on the pedal to the steering wheel. I tried to pull the cable tight from under the car and couldn't get the pedal up enough.
