My button isn't what it should be for a 1973 US spec and I want to know if they are interchangeable
top to bottom and left to right I have +, 15, 30...then 54f, 58b, 49a...then two unlabeled ones the "15" and "+" are confusing... the pin to "54f" is absent there is a resistor between "58b" and the switch contact if it were to be pried apart both unlabeled switches I assume to be the "L" and "R" in the haynes diagram and that it doesn't matter which is which any advice? |

58b is for the illumination light on the switch. It connects to the other dash lights so at night the hazard switch is dimly lit up.
Below is the simplified schematic of the hazard switch. My schematics do not show a "+" or 54f pin. Attached image(s) |

I have part number SAE QC72-3124 {411 953 235 B}
is this a correct number? It might be from another car I think the pin coming out the side of the switch is the ground and the one labeled "+" is "49" as it is the voltage input sound right? thanks a ton |
