Hit something two years ago. Mechanic says need a new steering rack. Found two o eBay. Anything I need to know when buying? Any special parts?

911 and 914 use the same one. Make sure the doughnut (rubber coupler) is good. I you have the old one out it is a good time to replace the tie rods and or the ball joints
