So does anyone here own a 3rd gen firebird or camaro? If so do you know any good forums for tech info/ and good sites to get parts? After I sold my teener I bought a 1991 Firebird for my college daily driver and it needs quite a few small things..

According to these places (ONE TWO THREE) The 3.1L V6 version that I have is reliable, has low repair costs, and can survive well into the 200K mi area. Plus the new motor and tranny in mine has around 30K mi so it'll definitely be a good driver for a while.

We're just joshing you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Hell I've even thought about picking up a 3rd gen just because they are fairly plentiful and there is good aftermarket for them.... but wait... I've had that thought about lots of cars. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

buy it... build it... drive it like you stole it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Haha yeah I figured. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I just got a little defensive.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) But I'm like that for any car I've owned. In fact there's no other car I'm more defensive of than the 914!

I plan to keep the body stock, with mild interior improvements, and a nice fat supercharger on the motor ;D Hopefully it won't kill my fuel efficiency too much. Actually, I wonder if I can get good results with turbo charging? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
