I have an odd electrical issue on my '70 I've been trying to work out for weeks. I've searched here many times but haven't found what I'm looking for. Here's what I have:
H-4's with 55/60 bulbs on stock wiring Pilot fogs connected to stock wiring/switch J-West flasher kit Problem: The parking light indicator and high beam indicator are always on when lights are on. Fog lights only work when in the parking light detent. The J-west flasher and fog lights work when lights are off, as advertised. There is only the slightest increase of brightness when I turn on the brights. The blue high beam indicator gets just ever so slightly brighter. It seems like the brights are always on. If I take a high beam fuse out and hit the brights, both lights are still on but very dim. It's similar to what a short looks like. Same thing with the low beam fuse. Really wierd. All grounds nice and clean. All lights nice and bright on the car. Any ideas?? |
