anybody got the technicals on the drain plug? im in need of one (new or used) and have been to 5 different places including vw repair shops, vw scrappers and import parts specialists and cant find one. its the holy grail of bolts apparently. the search function yielded a thread pitch of 1.5 and the bird diagram says its an m8
can anyone help? anyone between san diego and la have one? thanks for the help fellas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Dave |

When I have had to use the flywheel bolt I didn't use a gasket.. seals like a charm.. Should only be done when you have nothing else

Dave, Now that you have the size, why not try the local Lowes or a place called King Bolt in Covina. King Bolt carries a very large selection of fasteners. Do you know the length by any chance? Cesar |
