I noticed recently when looking at a post only the original post opens up. All replies now show up as a tree below the original post rather then being open if that makes sense. I now have to click on each reply to have them open. What changed ? My vote is I don't like it. Or is there some setting I can change ?

It didn't change ... you just clicked on the "Options" button under the "Add Reply" and "New Thread" buttons in the top right corner and selected "Outline" under display modes ... select "Standard" if you want it to display the way it was before.
