I am putting a 1976 2.0 into my 1973 1.7. The manual says there is only slight modifictions to the D-jetrronic system, can I use my 1.7 ECU with the 2.0 motor with 2.0 injectors? I do not have the 2.0 ECU.

I'm pretty sure it will fire up and run, but how good is anyone's guess. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I used a 1.7L D-Jet system on a 1.8L motor and it ran just fine.

The 73 1.7L ECU was the same as used on the 73 2.0L, that and the 2.0L injectors should be fine.

But the rest of your 1.7L system will not be sufficient.

Are you going to use the 76 2.0L intake system? Which FI harness? Which MPS? Which sensors? Use Brad Anders webpage to review teh parts you'll need.
