Going to try to make a door sticker for my restoration and don't have my cars build month. . . My serial number is
914043 1617 so does anyone know the build month of a car that is close to mine. . |

I agree that this is a compliance sticker for U.S. cars and not a VIN plate. So I do not believe someone commits a criminal act when they sand this off during a repaint. Of course opinions will vary.
I hope that someone is going to make a replacement sticker that accurately reflects all of the data contained on the original stickers for our cars. No fraud here. I would definitely buy one for my car and out it in my file for the day when the car is done. I have come across shops that make these replacements stickers but they are pictures of the sticker and not perforated stickers. I want the perforations so the body color shows through as intended. |

Well, that COA is no help. It has one digit missing as well. It is one of the last 3 digits, but cannot determine which one. 9140432xxx
