I really didn't do my homework as well as I should have.
The 45s are one inch shorter than the 50s....I was a bit surprised when I found this out. Gud, suspensionwise. I had to raise the rear springs one click which helps take out some negative camber in the rear...I had too much. No adjustments required in the front as they are about the same height as the 205 X 50s. The rears do shorten up the gearing (effectivly) which is a mixed blessing. First gear was already too short..2nd was gud but will now be marginal for some courses, me thinks. Who knows, maybe 3rd will be more useful IF I can leave it in there for a good sized section. I sure would like to find a B first gear for cheep. |
