I have to make sure I can get the time off from work, but my Son & I should be there. The Skip Barber National Series is not one of the Support Races this year so I won't be working.

I purchased tickets last week and was able to get a spot in the Porscheplatz, We are coming up and renting a place for 3 days at Lake Lanier and will make the short drive over. We have some friends from Ballground, Ga. that are coming over to stay. I exposed my friend to the view of the cars coming down the hill to the turn 10 complex by China Beach a couple of years ago, he was hooked. I think that was 2007, when the RS Spyder & R10 were running and Corvette and Aston Martin had the great battle.
That same year we were on the hill at turn1 for the start and I turned around and Wayne Taylor and Max Angeleli were standing behind us, Road Atlanta is a great track.
I have been shut out this year for ALMS events so this will be my only shot.

Looks like my Plans may be changing and most likely I won't be there.

I've been hired to Race a Porsche in 4-5 Races before the year is out ( Road Atlanta, Sebring, Savannah, Daytona & possibly VIR). So I'm going to be taking days off from my regular job.

Last month we drove by the track (by father-in-law lives in Flowery Branch) and I saw a kitbashed 914 for sale out in front of the complex. I've seen it there before, looks decent enough from the road, though I think it has that fugly Testarossa-look kit on it.
