I found this site while looking for some Am engine weights and thought it might be useful here for those doing swaps. I will say I don;t know how accurate the numbers are, but there seems to be quite a bit of research done.

I was actually looking at Am to Am swaps (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) The 401 I have for my Chevy truck is only 50 lbs heavier then the stright six that it came with (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) from 105 h.p. 193 ft. lbs up to 325 h.p. 445 ft. lbs and only a 50 lb weight gain (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
