Between the kids....the 356 project....the house remodel....it's been sitting. Tossed the shitty Rochester for an Edelbrock carb and I need to jet it right....

Starts, runs, goes fast...has a high idle....winter project once I finish the flares on Frankensteen and get Manfred dialed in.....

I don't think you'll find a single 914 V8 owner that didn't like his car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ......

there are plenty of V8 914s in the Bay Area, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard for you to hook up with an owner and go for a drive....you'll be addicted as soon as the car starts up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)

Mikey what didn't you like about the Rochester? I thought that Edelbrock carb
was a revamped Rochester. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

The Edelbrock is a Holley copy with mods as far as I know.....

I also wanted a reliable electric choke....and for 250 bucks I didn't have to rebuild the puking POS Rochester....
