I have a 1.7 with stock size domed pistons a carb cam and dual weber 40's what should be the normal head temperature with normal street driving?

Didn't find anything in the literature about normal temp but I'd say normal is in the range of 350 deg F. I have a VDO CHT gauge on a 2L D-Jet.

270 to 380 is the normal operational range.

Jake recommends the following head temperatures
Generally heads temps are 265-365 F 375 to 395 F is getting warm 405 F being to hot Oil temperature 180 - 220 F is optimum 225 - 235 F is warm 235+ F is to hot. |
