Hey all,
I recently sent my four 1.7 fuel injectors to Merrill Fuel Injection for analysis. I saw their service recommended on a thread and thought I would try them. They call today and say they have bad news--the injectors are very poor quality, not original Bosch, and basically suck ass. They asked where I got them--and I said Auto Atlanta. I bought them in around 2000. Has anyone had experience with aftermarket poor quality injectors?? I just assumed Auto Atlanta would sell me original Bosch. I would like to think Merrill is not just trying to get me to buy new injectors. They are waiving the analysis fee and sending me four Bosch injectors that are identical to the original 1.7 style for $52.00 each. I guess the only difference is the hose fitting is not molded the same. They claim the difference in performance will be amazing. Any inputs/comments?? NEMO |
