I was going to ask about drilled vented rotor installed direction. I know this may be a duh thing to many. Here is what keep going thru my mind...
I always pictured the drilled pattern to go in the direction OPPOSITE of an air scooping direction relitive to turning direction. As my alert antenna has been dialed in on this, I've heard both it does AND it doesn't matter. BBut it seemed to me if installed in the wrong direction the hot air would "pump inward" and concentrate on the bearing area... not real good. Then today I figured I'd watch the speed channel and focus on rotors. Too my amazement 2 out of 2 were what I figured was wrong. At least what I saw. I was both right AND wrong. Heres what I found. Read what it says under drilled rotors, toward the bottom. Good info. Just thought you'd wanna know http://www.zeckhausen.com/how_to_properly_install_rotors.htm |
