Hello There,
I changed my suspension inserts from Sachs to Bilstein. The lock washer which you bend up to secure the nut from loosing is heavyly damaged. The Bilstein came with a new nut with plastic stop (I have no idea how you call this thing in english (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) Do I need the washer when I use the new nut? Peter |

Well, I call it a Nylock.
You don't need the washer with a self locking nut, but if you have it put it on. The tab locks into the broach in the shaft and keeps the washer from rotating. |

Listen to SLITS, because, you see, he actually IS a self locking nut. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) More like a tab in search of a broach. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |
