Have been reassembling my backdated '76 since mid June and its almost done. Need to paint the wiper arms and put them on, install the gravel shield and refinish the top. It does not come off the roll arounds until it's ready for a test drive.

How did you modify the the flange that runs across the front of the front trunk ?
There is a forward facing piece that I think has to be removed.

You have to cut the lip/flange that runs all the way across the front of the car completely off. Search old school bumpers. It shows pix of the process. Probably about page 3 of the results.
