Mobil 1 20/50 Synthetic as the engine has always received. 145,000 miles on engine with compression and leak down within one percent etc. This is used on a 1987 Sixer Carrera.

No sure but you have to realize that oils have come a long way since our cars rolled off the line and may be quite different, hopefully better, than what they filled it with at the factory and recommended in the owners manual. If I recall, Castrol was recommended in the owners manual.
