The more money you send the more the garble dissipates. Send another $100 and the confirmation will say " Congratulations for your choice of motor car associations!"

I joined PCA at my first a/x back in April.

I get all the newsletters and Panorama.

Still no membership # or confirmation.

Can't log on to PCA website.

It took me 3 months + to join.

First you have to apply national and they send app to chicago region to confirm

then chicago chapter sends snail mail and you have to join with them

then they send snail mail back to national

then national sits on it

then you call the national mebership chair person and bitch (can I say that?)

Then finally they sign you up

(still glad I joined)

After 9 yrs with the PCA I did not renew my membership this year. I found my local SCCA region to have more events closer to me and just seems to be more active.
Besides, I have you all and what more do I need. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Once you are a PCA member, is there some secret understanding that you can ask 25% more for your car when you sell it and I should be twice as inclined to buy it? Like PCA members never flake out on oil changes or something.
