So my son and I changed the oil today. We switched from castrol to brad penn. before the change the car had the same clattering sound I have grown use to for the past six years. Well I want to tell you I was shocked with the HUGE decrease in engine rattling!!!

Not sure how it will be moving forward... But if decrease in sound correlates to decreased engine wear this will be a big win!!

Otherwise I am sold!! While the price may be high... It is still less than Mobile One for the Boxster. I will post progress.

Regards

James

FYI, Brad Penn is the old Kendall GT-1 oil. We started using GT-1, then Brad Penn on our 993 at around 100k miles. Sold the car with 200k miles, never had an engine issue, never out of the car, no engine work, good compression, good leak down, etc. when it was sold.

Use it and/or Cam2 Racing Oil on our 914's now.
