This car is real and it is for sale. This car is located or stored inside a warehouse in the area of Long Beach Airport. I did help the warehouse reclassify various 914 parts and they have a huge inventory of used 914 parts.

The 914 offered here in the ad is quite a race car with real racing history, that was once supported by a shop here in Sacramento CA

I wonder where this car wound up. More important though is I was checking the history, and the last entry which was Sebring 1983 had a few anomalies: the VIN was correct, but in the Entry list shows it incorrectly as #36, and as a 914/4. Did it and the other (GO Racing) 914 actually run a 4 cyl engine?

I had just turned 21 a few weeks before the race. My brother in law got me photographer's credentials which allowed me access to pit row during the race.

I had just bought my 914 less than a year before so I was loving how well this car was doing in the race.
