I go to this clients house the other day to resolve some problems he is having with his computers. He asks me if I can fix a portable hard drive. It stopped working so he buys a newer larger one to replace it. Tells me to take it and see if I can make it work again. Turns out the power supply is bad on it. So I take the drive and install it in another computer and fire it up. It's a 120 gig WD drive that just went out of warranty. The drive works fine. Can you guess what he had on there? It was full with only about 240 meg left free. Anyone venture to guess??? You get 3 guesses and the first two dont count. I would bet you guess the first time correctly.

I think this is an easy one. Microsoft Office. Do I win anything if I am correct?
I am looking for a half-height portable drive to put into a portable USB box. (I don't have it with me and I forget what they are called.) They are pretty cool, plug into any computer and it is automatically recognized as a drive (with XP anyway). Easy to move very large files from machine to machine and they are cheap. I currently have a full height drive connected but cannot put the cover back on. -Jeff |

QUOTE(seanery @ Nov 26 2004, 09:50 AM) gay porn? "not that there's anything wrong with that" There is something wrong with that!!! This guy is in his mid 60's. The drive is full on porn movies and clips. All categorized and alphabetized. Nasty stuff!! So if you want any of it, let me know I can burn it onto a DVD and send it to you. I know you guys are all into that porn stuff. Otherwise, I will format this drive and give it back to him and tell him it was all corrupted data and not recoverable. scott, that was a seinfeld quote.
Jerry & George were discussing someone who was gay (I think) and they always said "Not that there's anything wrong with that" |
