There are 914's in Houston?!?

Unfortunately mine needs to be tuned and is popping off gunshots through the carbs - and I'm not fixing it because I'm about to start my /6 conversion. And we're pretty far apart (I-10/Beltway 8 West).

There is an autocross this weekend with the BMW club - up at the police academy by the airport (Bush). I may do that with my Boxster. Did one last month in the 914 and it was pretty fun.

YES !!!! We need to all get together....
but, unfortunately, mine is not running (fuel injection) and would need to be towed....ugh!

I'm in League City as well. My car is under construction but I'd love to meet up with some local guys. We have a Boxster and M3 that we can bring for drives if you'll let us tag along.

Hey Houston, I am driving home to California to visit Mom, brothers and sister. I will be in Laguna Beach, Carlsbad, Oceanside and Pacific Beach. I’ll be back in town at the end of June. I would like to get together with as much of you as possible so because there is some distance between us; maybe we could meet half way.
I found another 914 by chance in League City at a shop with the engine pulled. The plates are from Louisiana, pretty clean 74. I left word with my buddy to have the owner call me.
There is always something to learn from fellow owners and lend a hand if necessary.

Hey guys. I am not an owner but I have a dream. LOL I have no money so why not a 914 hahahaha. Always interested in a possiable Subaru project. Ive riden in DBCoopers car and DAM. Maybe I can tell my wife its the drift car she always wanted. I would like some more 914 experence to pump up my dream.
