Glad to hear the driver was ok.
That being said, if I'm a cop, the 914 would definitely not be a car I'd want assigned to me. Should have been saved for fund raising events or something.

Is that a real police car in service or somebody's clone? Who in their right mind (cop) would drive one in today's world?

no, no ... that's just a clone (or tribute car), based on a standard 1.7

HAHAHA....the 914 is under the ass end of the van.

NEVER a good thing when you're 'teabagged' driving your 914.

All things considered, it looks like the 914 did what it’s supposed too. The front crumpled absorbing the energy, and the windshield did a pretty good job of preventing incursion. It would be interesting to know how fast the 914 was going when it smacked the minivan.

I'm surprised how well the A pillars held (especially with the roof off).

I'm ashamed to admit that I inflicted similar damage to my first 914 in 1979, don't ask...

Back then it only cost $1300.00 to fix. Times have changed.
