Okay my LS1 project is semi officially bagged. Going to sell it off in parts instead of trying to sell the entire package with the car. Although I would consider the whole package too. My 914 is a 70 with GT metal flares installed & 5-lug conversion. Pics to come this weekend

Okay so what I have is a 2000 Chevy LS1 motor with 95k on it. I bought the Camaro SS I pulled it from. Ran & drive great but had a salvage title. Since I wanted motor I didn't car about the car. Which really was in good shape too. Just drove it for a few weeks until I had time to pull the motor. The motor still has everything on it. The wiring harness & ECU are included but I haven't had them modified yet. I will get some pics up this weekend. Also included is the Brand New KEP 901 adapter plate, Flywheel, Good stage 2 clutch & Pressure plate (these were used for less than 1000 miles on Rotary conversion).

Price for the motor, ECU, Flywheel, PP & Clutch $3800

My Renegade hybrids Radiator will also be available to purchase. Only to the person who buys the motor. It a couple years old but only has 2-3 thousand miles use. Price will be $750 but only with the motor. I will not sell seperate unless the motor is sold

QUOTE(JRust @ Sep 29 2013, 07:11 PM) *

here is another bump

b/c I'm interested in the value of the LS1 as I have a similar engine out of a 99 Camaro. It was also a salvage but was wrecked and the mounting holes, for the bell housing, was cracked so I bought a block from a 2000 Vette and had it rebuilt.

What a great fricking deal! People were tripping over these motors 5 years ago. Now everyone wants one! If someone doesn't bite I would list it on CL for the same price (engine and ECU only!).

Still have it? Does the LS1 fit in the 914 engine bay? Anybody done it yet? I could be interested. I have another Type IV motor that might as well be used for a coffee table. I kept saying if it didn't run after putting it back together I was going to do a v8 conversion.
