I am in need of some new wires.
I have at least two sets of older plug wires and most of the ends look OK. It is the wire that gets old, nasty, contaminated, etc. Cant I just buy some new wire and transfer the ends? If so, what is a good size & a decent brand? Anyone want to go in on a roll? Any suggested vendors, or "Just call Chris @ Tangerine?" |

I have a set of Chris' wires and they are quite nice, but like you I've threatened to do this for years. MSD and a few others sell them in bulk through the normal avenues; JEGS, Summit, etc...

the type of wire depends upon your ignition.
But yes, you can buy a roll of it from summit etc...as stated above. |

I'm not 100% sure but I think that direction is fine, it's if you have a Mallory setup that you need the special wire.

McMark already has it in bulk. Magnecor I believe. The plug wires on the engine I just sold were made by him. He can probably make you a set or sell you what you need to make your own.
