Trying to trouble shoot 1.8 FI and most tests have ignition on. Any way to disable the buzzer and retain all the other key on functions? The seat belt relay has been by passed. Thanks.

1. Find buzzer
2. Disconnect it

In my 74 2.0, the buzzer was under the passenger's seat next to where the Dreaded Seatbelt Interlock Relay had been.

On a 73, there is a silver cylindrical relay on the fuse box you can pull to negate it. Not sure if the 74 is different. But might be worth a look.
